Once on the A+ course you will learn how to build, fix, repair and work in antistatic conditions. Fault finding and diagnostic techniques through hands on and remote access are also covered.
If you want to look after computer networks, you'll need to add CompTIA Network+ to your training package. This qualification will enable you to get a higher paid postion.
People attracted to this sort of work are usually very practical, and don't always take well to classrooms, and poring through books and manuals. If this is putting you off studying, go for more modern interactive training, where you can learn everything on-screen.
